The original recipe is fried and breaded with wheat flour, but this is not healthy , so , I adapted.
Ingredients:
*Oat bran blended in blender
*1/4 of green cabbage
*1/4 of purple cabbage
*Half chopped onion
*2 chopped garlic
*Salt as your wish
*A pinch of curry
*A pinch of massala
*1 teacspoon of turmeric
*1 egg
*A bit of water
*1 carrot grated
*Grated white cheese (the better is a cheese which gets melted)
Way of To Do:
*Mix the oat bran with a bit of water , making a homogenous paste
*Cut the cabbages in thin stripes and reserve
*Mix the egg with the spices and the salt
*Add the grated cheese in the eggs with spices and mix all
*Grease the small oven dish with vegetable oil, using a silicone brush.
*Make flattened circles and put in the oven
*Turn the cakes from one side to other from 10 to 10 minutes
*Poke the cakes with a fork to check If It is already cooked
*When the cakes are ready , take them off from the oven and put in a beautiful dish you like
*Your Indonesian Bala Bala cakes are ready to serve ! Let's enjoy now !
