Ingredients:
*1 small branch of dark cabbage
*Half broccoli to make the puree thicker
*4 medium well chopped tomatoes
*1 table spoon of grated ginger
*2 medium garlic cloves well chopped
*Half onion well chopped
*Half tea spoon of coriander
*Half tea spoon of massala
*1 soup spoon of lemon juice
*2 bay leaves
*2 cinammon sticks
*8 cloves
*1 soup spoon of fenugreek
*Olive oil
*Salt
*1 tea spoon of hot paprika
*1 and 1/2 cup of chickpeas
Way of To Do:
*In the previous day, put in water the chickpeas and put in refrigerator .
*In the next day , wash the chickpeas in a sieve to wash them and take out the foam which makes abdominal gases
*Cook the chickpeas with a bit of water in the pressure pan for 12 minutes. When it gets cooked, let the pan get cool and take out the chickpeas, sieving them trought a colander. Reserve them.
*Boil in a pan with water the cabbage leaves with broccoli and water enough to cover them
*When it is ready , let it cool , and after, blend trought a mixer with a bit of water to turn into a paste
*Add in a pan the olive oil,with garlic ,ginger , onion and salt and mix
*Add the lemon juice
*Put clove and cinammon and mix
*Add the bay leaves
*Put the tomatoes with a bit of water enough to cover them and lid the pan until turn them into a paste
*So,put the fennel
*Add coriander and massala
*So, pour the chickpeas and mix
*Turn off the oven , add hot paprika and mix
*Pour in a beatiful bowl and serve.Your palak chole is ready. Enjoy !!
