Ingredients:
*1/4 of red pumpkin cut in medium cubes
*2 cups of chickpeas
*6 soup spoons of cocnut milk
*Salt
* 2 well chopped garlic cloves
*Half onion well chopped
*Vegetable oil
*1 tea spoon of turmeric
* Half tea spoon of garam massala
*Half tea spoon of coriander
*Half tea spoon of cumin
*1 table spoon of grated ginger
*2 cinnamon sticks
*1 tea spoon of mustard powder/seeds
*8 cloves
* 1 and half tea spoon of hot paprika
Way of To Do:
*Put the pumkin to boil in water. When it begins to bubble , turn off the oven and dran it in a metallic colander and let them be cooled
*Put the chickpeas in a pressure pan with water in an amount enought to cover them . When the pan begins to whistle , let it for 10 minutes in the stopwatch . After this time pássed , turn off the oven and put the pan in the sink and opwn thge faucet to cold the pan and stop the cooking process. .When the pan is cold , you can open the pan.
*Blend in a blender the pumkin cubes with water in aan amount enought to get a puree texture. Resrve the puree in a bowl.
*Put in a big pan the oil , onion , salt , ginger and mustyard powder/seeds to male the spice base . Mix them to gild the spices
*Add turmeric , cumin , coriander, massala , clove and cinnamon and mix to make them be incorporated to the previous spices
*Add the pumpkin puree n the pan and mix
*Pour the coconut milk and mix again
*Add the chickpeas and mix to incorporate them to the spices
*Turn off the oven and add the hot pparika.
*Serve in a beautiful bowl. Your pumpkin dahl is ready. Enjoy !!
