As always, I am concerned abot to do always healthy foods , and the traditional version of falafel is fried ,but I did it trought air frier.
Ingredients
*2 tea cups of chickpeas (raw, not cooked)
*4 cloves of crushed garlic
*2 teaspoons of baking soda
*1 cup of chopped salse
*0.5 medium onion, finely chopped
*1 pinch of cumin
*1 pinch of curiander
*1 pinch of paprika
*1 tea spoon of Syrian pepper
*Salt to taste
*Soybean/sunflower oil for pass in hand and shape the balls to put in air frier
Way of To Do:
*Let the chickpea in water for 1 day and wah in a sieve to take out the foam
*Put in blender/processor with as few water as possible,if you don't have processor and will use blender,making a homogeneous solid paste.Add more water and flour ,if necessary,to give league.If you have a processor,put all the ingredients in it.If you don't have,ix into a bowl.
*Put in a bowl with salt,garlic,baking soda
*Mix with the salse,onion and the spices
*Save in refrigerator for 1 hour.
*Spread oil in your hands to shape the balls
*Put the balls directly in the grill,without the silicone formwork
*Let them fry for 10 minutes
*They will get a medium brown colour
*Put them in a plate trought a spatula and serve!
Your falafel is ready!
