Burmanese tofu is from the Asian country called Myanmar,or Burma.It is a very interesting and culturally rich,with mix of Buddhist and Hindu culture ! You can't lose the opportunity of to visit this country and taste the amazing dishes if this marvelous country!!
Ingredients:
*1 tea cup of chickpea
*1 cup tea of water
*A pinch of salt
*A pinch of curry or your favourite spice
*A high medium thick cauldron
*A blender
*A vessel in the shape you wish
*A silicone brush
*Vegetable oil
Way of To Do:
*Put the chickpea in water 2 fingers high for 1 day
*In the following day,wash the chickpea in a sieve to take out the foam ,until the water becomes transparent
*Blend the chickpea in a blender ,with the same amount of water ,until obtain a homogeneous mixture
*Grease the bowl with vegetable oil, using a silicone brush. Don't use too much oil so as not to interfere with the tofu hardening.
*Pour everything into the cauldron ,with medium flame
*Put the salt and spices
*Mix but don't let appear the bottom of the cauldron,to the tofu don't become very thick,making holes between the layers
*Put in the refrigerator until it get hard
*Place it in a vessel you like
Observations:
*Don't put your chickpea in water and freeze after ; it will mess uo the molecular structure of the grains and your tofu will not get gard as it should be - it will get even difficult to cut in pieces!
*But you can freeze the grains into the pack that you won't use by while with a fastener!It will impeach that insects appear in the pack while you don't use the whole pack!
Your Burmanese tofu is ready !
